TEL AVIV - Several threatening graffiti inscriptions against Prime Minister Ariel Sharon were discovered in Tel Aviv and Ra’anana.

Ra’anana residents came across a graffiti inscription Monday night that read, “We murdered Rabin, we will murder Sharon as well”. Police officers were summoned to the scene, but no suspects have been detained as of yet.

"The inscription is not only a personal attack on Sharon, it is a threat and a call to murder the prime minister due to his policy,” a police source said.

The inscription was discovered at the North Ra’anana junction, where a demonstration against then Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin took place in 1995; Rabin was assassinated by right-wing activist Yigal Amir in November 1995.

Several other inscriptions were found near the city of Rehovot Tuesday morning. One inscription read, “We took care of Rabin, we will take care of Sharon as well”.

An inscription that read, “Rabin is waiting for Sharon” was sprayed on the walls of the Tel Aviv Performing Arts Centre, and another inscription found in Tel Aviv read, “Kill the traitor Sharon”.
