They didn’t even let us have a word with them. I hope they are released soon.” ‘Valley of the shadow of death’ Tel Aviv police arrested the three youths in the Tel Aviv area Tuesday. All three are West Bank settlers. They were brought to the Ashkelon Magistrates Court later in the day. At the courthouse, the three were greeted by fellow right-wing activists and family members with the honor and warmth reserved for war heroes the court’s audience applauded and one friend quoted Psalm 23: “Even if you walk in the valley of the shadow of death, you shall not fear.” The trio’s defense attorney, Uri Keinan, said he does not know the accusations against his clients. “My clients deny all accusations. We will wait until the end of the deliberation and see how things develop,” he said. In the closed-door court hearing, Shin Bet representatives claimed the three are dangerous accordingly, the judge extended their remand by eight days.
