Two Qassam rockets hit the southern town of Sderot Thursday. No injuries were reported, but a factory and a truck were damaged.
Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility for the attack, saying the rockets were in response to the army's arrest of several organization activists in the West Bank city of Jenin earlier in the day.
IDF sources said the Qassams were fired from the Beit Hanoun area of the Gaza Strip.
The attack was the second in two weeks. Last week, two Qassams fell in an open field just outside Sderot, but police failed to locate the exact spot the rocket hit.,
Following that attack, dozens of residents held an impromptu protest, burning tires and calling on Mayor Eli Moyal to resign.
