The Arad Police confiscated 12,000 cigarette cartons smuggled from Egypt, following a helicopter chase.
The police arrested a 25-year-old Tel Arad resident in suspicion of smuggling and of assaulting the police officers who detained him. The suspect and the vehicle used for the smuggling were taken to the police station. (Anat Barshkovsky)
