Likud approves Shalom's guaranteed 2nd spot

The Likud Central Committee approved by a large majority the proposal to guarantee Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom's second spot on the Likud list.
The Committee also approved the proposal to put off the Likud primaries to January 12 in order to change the party's regulations and ban those with a criminal record from running, a move aimed at keeping Moshe Feiglin out of the list. (Ilan Marciano)
