Sources at the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem, where Prime Minister Ariel Sharon is hospitalized, estimated that Sharon's brain suffered great damage.
Professor Shlomo Mor Yosef, the hospital's director-general, said earlier that Sharon's doctors would be able to examine the effects of the stroke on his functioning only after his situation improves. On Sunday, the doctors are expected to try and wake Sharon up from his anesthetization. (Meital Yasur-Beit Or)
