An Egyptian man died in hospital on Friday, two days after being wounded in clashes over the building of a church in the south of the country, a security official said.
Kamal Shaker Majalla was seriously wounded on Wednesday night when a group of Muslim youths tried to stop Christians from starting work on the church in the village of el-Udaysaat near the city of Luxor, about 500 km (300 miles) south of Cairo. (Reuters)
