The Noah Dar dance troupe will perform an Arabic-language version of "Dreams are a big painting" by poet Leah Goldberg.

The poems were translated into Arabic by playwright and director Adnan Tarbashi. This is the first time Goldberg's work has appeared in
Arabic, and will be performed by singer/actress Amal Murkus.

The production is intended for children and teenagers, and will be presented in Arab towns around the country, including Carmiel, Acco and Lod. The project is subsidized by the Omanut Laam (art for the people) organization and Israel's national lotto, and tickets will cost just NIS 10 (USD 2.00).

Dar and musical director Yisrael Bright said, "We shook with delight at the initiative to present a positive interaction between cultures and for artistic cooperation between Arabs and Jews."
