Hungary tests dead swans for bird flu virus
Hungary is testing 11 dead swans for the deadly H5N1 bird flu virus, the national news agency MTI said on Wednesday.
The birds were found on the ice of the Danube near Esztergom, 60 km northwest of Budapest, and several more dead swans were spotted but could not be removed from the ice, MTI said, quoting a local official. (Reuters)
