Border Guard officers kill Palestinian who threw Molotov cocktails at Israeli cars; surge in violent incidents across West Bank
The Border Guard on Wednesday killed a Palestinian who threw Molotov cocktails at Israeli cars traveling near Ramallah.
Molotov cocktails were found near the Palestinian’s body.
In another incident, three explosive devices were hurled at IDF troops operating in a village east of Nablus earlier Wednesday. IDF troops opened fire on a Palestinian man who hurled the devices, but it was not clear if the man was injured in the fire.
Palestinians also opened fired on an Israeli car traveling south of Nablus, no one was injured and no damage was caused.
Earlier, Palestinians in Nablus threw a Molotov cocktail at an Israeli car traveling on a road near the West Bank city.
A car traveling south of Hebron was attacked by stones on Wednesday afternoon; no one was injured and the car sustained minor damages.
Palestinians also hurled stones at an Israeli car northwest of Ramallah.
A Border Guard officer and a policeman suffered light head injuries from stones hurled at them by Palestinians near the security barrier in Jerusalem.
In the early hours of Wednesday morning, the IDF arrested 12 wanted Palestinian suspects across the West Bank. In Ramallah, the IDF arrested six terror suspects, including three members of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.
