Report: Olmert asked Germany's help in preserving European ban on Hamas

RPrime Minister Ehud Olmert approached the German government and requested that it exercise its influence on the other members of the European Union in order to preserve the boycott on the Hamas-led government .
The German newspaper Bild reported that Olmert said Germany should "use its position so that the front against Hamas remains stable." (AFP)
