Teens spray swastikas on school walls

Four teenagers admit to having sprayed swastikas on their school's walls citing they 'hate the headmistress'

Swastikas were spayed on the walls of a Petach Tikva school on Monday, only five days after a similar incident at a synagogue in the city.

Four teenagers were arrested and admitted to having carried out the defacement.

The reason for their deeds: "We hate the headmistress."

A police investigation revealed that the teenagers arrived at the school overnight Sunday and sprayed swastikas and insults against the headmistress on the school's walls.

The students also caused damage to public property.

Police had the youth on their suspect list and managed to locate them. They admitted to the offenses to police interrogators.

The 15-year-old teenagers told police they had developed an enmity towards the headmistress after a number of disputes when they attended the school.

Last Thursday, worshipers found swastikas on the walls of a synagogue in the city. Police initially suspected the incidents are related but the interrogation of the four teenagers ruled out such scenario.
