Will Israelis return home?

The Counter Terrorism Bureau has elevated its Sinai travel warning due to what it referred to as an “increased threat of kidnapping of Israeli citizens on the Sinai coast.”
The warning, which comes two weeks after the Dahab terror attacks, also said “the Bureau sternly suggests that Israelis visiting Sinai leave immediately."
The question remains whether the Israelis will in fact heed the call and leave Egypt, or stay put as they have following similar warnings issued in the past.
In the beginning of March 2006 the Bureau elevated its warning regarding travel to Arab countries in general and neighboring countries specifically in light of the increasing global jihad activities close to Israel. The warning included a recommendation that Israeli citizens to refrain from visiting these countries.
Two weeks ago terror struck the Sinai town of Dahab. Dozens of people were killed in three separate and near simultaneous explosions, but even then Israelis visiting the peninsula did not hurry home.
