Halutz appoints Giora Eiland to head investigation committee into attack on IDF post
Chief of Staff Dan Halutz appointed Major General (Res.) Giora Eiland to head a team of experts who will investigate the circumstances of the incident at the IDF post near Kerem Shalom. Two soldiers were killed in the incident and soldier Gilad Shalit was kidnapped.
Halutz ordered the committee to complete its investigation by July 10. (Hanan Greenberg)
