Palestinian sources reported an exchange of fire between Hamas operatives and IDF forces in Beit Hanun, in northern Gaza. According to the report, the operatives also fired mortars at the IDF forces.
As a result of the exchange, an 11 year old Palestinian boy was critically injured. (Ali Waked)
