Trump Tower on Tel Aviv beachfront?

American real estate tycoon’s partner in purchasing of Elite building in Ramat Gan for USD 44 million also purchasing rights to erect apartment building on Tel Aviv’s beachfront, near Dolphinarium

Yedioth Ahronoth has learned that Donald Trump’s partner in the purchasing of the Elite building in Ramat Gan for USD 44 million is also purchasing the rights to erect an apartment building on Tel Aviv’s beachfront, near the Dolphinarium.

Israeli businessman Yossi Buchman sold the development rights to Trump’s partner in the Ramat-Gan deal, Sonny Kahn, for an estimated USD 60 million.

Buchman received ownership over the beachfront property from the Tel Aviv municipality and in exchange relinquished his development rights at the Dolphinarium complex, where the city plans to erect a park.

Kahn purchased from Buchman the rights to build a 38-story apartment building at the site, while Buchman will maintain ownership over nearby property he received from the city in the Dolphinarium deal. Buchman is expected to build a new hotel at the site.

The 230-apartment building and 400-room hotel will be constructed on 3 acres of land on Koifman Street, the last available property on the Tel Aviv beachfront.

The property is valued at USD 20 million.
