Madonna is cutting her ties with Judaism? Behold our friends, another Hollywood star is being recruited
Judaism rocks: The Irish Examiner reported that Hollywood star Lindsay Lohan is changing her name to Rose, because of her Kabbalah beliefs. The star will take on the name Rose once she has fully converted to Judaism.
According to the report, the actress has become intrigued by the Kabbalah, made famous by Madonna and a bunch of other stars, including Demi Moore and her husband Ashton Kutcher.
The 20-year-old Lohan has allegedly been so inspired by the teachings of the Kabbalah she is now preparing give her native Catholic Church a cold shoulder.
Meanwhile, Esther may be about to become Madonna again as it's rumored she's about to cut her ties with Kabbalah.
The Independent on Sunday cited close friends of the super-star saying she has talked of loosening her red Kabbalah wristband - used to ward off the "evil eye" - and is wearying of the mystical Jewish belief system.
Madonna has tired of the financial burden and the effect her strong beliefs have had on her relationship with husband Guy Ritchie, the paper said. Madonna is also said to be concerned that following Kabbalah separates her children from more conventional customs such as Christmas, which they do not currently celebrate, it added.
