VIDEO - Israel’s Channel 2 TV reported Sunday that Hizbullah Chief Hassan Nasrallah was injured following an Israel Air Force attack in south Beirut. This report has not been confirmed by the IDF. However, according to the Al-Jazeera news agency, a senior Hizbullah official denied that Nasrallah had been injured in the IAF strike. The Arab news agencies reported that the IDF attacks overnight were the most intense yet on Hizbullah strongholds in the Lebanese capital. The Israeli Air Force bombed early Sunday a southern suburb of Beirut considered a Hizbullah stronghold. During the attack the organization’s main headquarters in the city was destroyed, and Hizbullah’s Al-Manar TV station was also struck for the third time in the past few days. Al-Manar TV said Israeli warplanes bombed the Jiyeh power station, some 20 kilometers (12 miles) south of the Lebanese capital. The IDF also targeted weapons caches and areas used by Hizbullah to launch Katyushas. News agencies contributed to the report
