The U.S. Ambassador said 320 Americans would be evacuated from Lebanon to Cyprus by the end of Tuesday and that 1,000 more will leave the following day.
U.S Ambassador Jeffrey D. Feltman told The Associated Press that by the end of the week the evacuation would be proceeding at a pace of 1,000 Americans a day. (AP)
