IDF officials: Rocket fired at Ashkelon while IDF shelled north Gaza
IDF officials said a rocket fired towards Ashkelon was launched from the area of the former Erez industrial zone of north Gaza.
It was not yet clear what type of rocket it was. The rocket was launched at the height of an Israeli land and sea assault on north Gaza, the IDF said. (Hanan Greenberg)
