Soldier late to his base fabricated kidnapped soldier report

Tel Aviv Police District is looking into the suspicion that the person who sent three bogus reports about the kidnapping of a soldier near Herzliya was a soldier who was late to his base.

The police are investigating how to soldier knew to provide license plates to a car which was later found in the south of the country. (Avi Cohen)
