Prime Minister Ehud Olmert told students of the National Security Institute that "we don't have a conflict with Lebanon but with part of the Shi'te population of Lebanon. The question is not what percentage we have struck but whether the threat has been lifted."
The prime minister added that "patience is needed, there will be more ups and downs. This is a test of Israel's stamina." (Ronny Sofer)
