Gay pride parade won't be held in Jerusalem due to security situation

The Open House in Jerusalem reported that gay pride events would be held as planned, but the World Pride parade scheduled to take place in Jerusalem in August would be cancelled due to the security situation.

Open House spokespersons said: "These are not the times for festivities. The parade, which demands a great deal of security, won't take place due to the security situation." (Neta Sela and Hagai Einav))
