IAF Commander: Cause of helicopter crash unclear
Yohanan Locker, Commander of the IAF's Air Division, said the cause of Monday morning’s helicopter crash near Safed was unclear. “It simply disappeared from radio contact,” he said.
Locker added that the air force had carried out over 4,000 war-plane sorties since the beginning of fighting in Lebanon and over 800 helicopter sorties. (Moran Zelikovich)
