MK Beilin submits petition against PM for failing to declare war
Knesset Member Yossi Beilin (Meretz-Yahad) submitted a complaint to the high court against Prime Minister Ehud Olmert due to the lack of a declaration of the start of fighting.
He said the lack of declaration was an attempt by the government to evade its responsibility for proper management and its economic responsibility to compensate those affected by the war. (Ronny Sofer)
