The Islamic Jihad said in a statement that Hanni Aweijan, the Al-Quds Brigades commander who was critically wounded by IDF fire in Nablus, has died of his wounds.
Aweijan was responsible, among other things, for the deadly terror attack on the pedestrian mall in Tel Aviv’s Neve Shaanan Street three months ago, which left four Israelis dead. (Ali Waked)
