Rice in Jerusalem: Long-term agreement possible in another week

US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said in a press conference in Jerusalem that she is convinced that a ceasefire and a long-term agreement will be achievable in another week.

According to Rice, the United States will petition the UN Security Council to reach an understanding that will include a ceasefire and a long-term agreement and will grant authority to a multinational force in Lebanon. (Ynet)
