IDF apologizes for attack which killed Lebanese soldiers

In the city of Qassmiya, north of Tyre, the air force attacked a vehicle in which it was suspected that a senior Hizbullah operative was travelling. After the attack, it was found that officers in the Lebanese army were riding in the car, not Hizbullah members. The IDF apologized for the attack.

Earlier Monday, official Lebanese sources reported that the air force bombed targets in Lebanon. According to them, a Lebanese soldier was killed and three others injured. (Hanan Greenberg)
