VIDEO - Fighting in southern Lebanon continues: Five Golani soldiers were hurt during an operation at the village of Mahbib in the western region in southern Lebanon. One of the fighters was seriously injured, and four were lightly hurt.
The troops, of Golani's Battalion 12, were operating inside a building when a blast was suddenly heard in the area. All of the injured were evacuated to hospital.
In addition, a reserve soldiers was moderately injured and another eight reserve soldiers were lightly hurt in the afternoon after terrorists opened fire at them during an operation in the village of Ras al-Biada in southern Lebanon. The soldiers were evacuated for medical treatment at the Rambam Medical Center in Haifa.
The soldiers were operating in an attempt to locate weapons in the village. Before the operation, residents were called to leave their homes. The soldiers hurled grenades and fired at a building to make sure that there are no terrorists in it, but the building apparently contained weapons, which exploded and hurt the soldiers.
During the operation in the village, IDF soldiers killed 16 Hizbullah terrorists, destroyed two trucks loaded with rockets and uncovered a mortar shells launcher and about 100 bombs.
Meanwhile, Lebanese media reported Sunday afternoon that the Israel
Air Force resumed its strikes in Beirut. The Arab media outlets aired pictures from Beirut in which thick clouds of smoke are seen rising over bombed areas.
Israel Defense Forces officials confirmed that the IAF struck targets in the Dahiya neighborhood, which is considered to be Hibzullah's stronghold in southern Beirut. Among the targets attacked: Five homes of Hizbullah activists and five of the organization's offices.

In addition, it was reported that six people were killed in a southern Lebanon town. Eyewitnesses reported that the killed were trapped under the rubbles of a building struck by the IDF.
The IDF struck more than 170 targets from the air in the past 24 hours, including headquarters, operation rooms, Hizbullah weapons caches and a recruitment facility in the Dahiya neighborhood in Beirut.
In addition, 10 rocket launchers, three bridges connecting southern and northern Lebanon, and other buildings were also attacked.
Since the onset of Operation Change of Direction, the IDF has hit more than 400 terrorists.
Saturday: Reserve soldier killed in exchanges of fire
On Saturday, a reserve soldier, Corporal Kyril Kashdan, was killed
after being hit by an anti-tank missile during an operation at the southern Lebanese village of Aita al-Shaab. Another soldier was seriously injured in the battle and 18 troops were lightly injured, some of them in exchanges of fire that erupted with Hizbullah terrorists in the village.
The terrorists fired anti-tank missiles, which in recent days have caused great losses among IDF soldiers, causing the deaths of several fighters. One of the missiles hit a building from where the forces were operating, killing the reserve soldier and lightly wounding four troops.
Heavy exchanges of fire erupted in the area, during which another soldier was severely wounded and 14 were lightly hurt. The injured were evacuated for medical treatment at the Rambam Medical Center in Haifa and the Nahriya hospital.
