VIDEO - Heavy fighting has raged on between IDF forces and Hizbullah gunmen all day Wednesday in the Lebanese villages of Dibel and Aita al-Shaab in south Lebanon’s western zone. Earlier in the day heavy exchanges of fire were reported in the area between al-Taibeh and Qantara in the eastern sector. In the morning hours a Golani Brigade soldier was moderately injured in Bint Jbeil. Since Wednesday morning IDF forces have been engaged in heavy battles with Hizbullah gunmen, who continue to fire various types of missiles at armored IDF vehicles and structures in which soldiers are staying. At dawn Paratroopers Brigade troops left Lebanon, but large forces are still operating in dozens of locations, this in addition to elite reserve units operating deep inside Lebanese territory. At around noon four Hizbullah terrorists were killed and two others were wounded in clashes with IDF reservists in the village of Rajmin in Lebanon’s western zone no IDF troops were injured in the incident. Meanwhile the Air Force attacked two rocket launchers east of Tyre from which rockets were fired at Israel Wednesday morning. Israeli Air Force warplanes attacked early Wednesday more than 120 targets throughout Lebanon, among them 80 Hizbullah structures, four rocket launchers, a cave used to hide weapons, 25 roads and seven bridges -most of them on the Litani River. AFP reported that a senior Hizbullah operative, his wife and five children were killed in an IAF attack in the city of Mashghara, in the eastern zone of southern Lebanon.
