Lebanese army to reinforce forces along Syrian border

The Lebanese army is going to reinforce its forces along the border with Syria, as reported by Lebanese newspaper as-Safir. Five units of the Lebanese army will deploy in a series of outposts east of the Jordan Valley.

Security sources reported that the deployment will be carried out in accordance with a decision of the Lebanese government and that the forces will act to prevent violation of the UN Security Council resolution. (Roee Nahmias)
