MK Yatom: Ministers must reject Olmert’s proposal

MK Dani Yatom (Labor) said in response to PM Ehud Olmert’s speech: “I call upon all ministers to demonstrate civic responsibility and reject the prime minister’s suggestion of having three inquiry committees to investigate the failures of the war in Lebanon.”
“The only obligatory committee is a state commission of inquiry, which is the only one that could see the big picture and examine the reciprocal relationship between the political and military echelon and evaluate this important aspect,” he said. (Attila Somflavi)
