Lebanon hopes donor conference will raise USD 500 million
Lebanon hopes that a conference of international donors in the Swedish capital this week will raise USD 500 million for short-term recovery efforts, officials said on Tuesday.
The conference was called in order to raise funds for Lebanon's early recovery needs, the Swedish Foreign Ministry has said. The sum was decided by the Lebanese government and the United Nations. (Reuters)
