Olmert: Peres – Israel's biggest fundraiser abroad
Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, in a cabinet meeting on rebuilding the north, said that Vice Premier Shimon Peres, along with various worldwide Jewish organizations, had raised USD 300 million for the north.
Olmert said that Peres "is the biggest fundraising engine in the government and in Israel" and praised him for his efforts. (Attila Somflavi)
