Iranian VP meets senior Hizbullah operative in Beirut
According to Iran's national news agency IRNA, Iranian Executive Vice President Ali Saeedlou met with Hizbullah's political advisor Hussein al-Khalid, in the Iranian embassy in Beirut.
Prior to this meeting, Saeedlou met with Lebanese President Emile Lahoud, and said that "the Iranian government came to Lebanon to examine the possibility of participating in the rehabilitation of Lebanon." (Dudi Cohen)
