Peretz: Leave Lebanon after news 'rules of the game' established
Defense Minister Amir Peretz convened a strategic meeting with IDF Chief of General Staff Lt. Gen. Dan Halutz and other senior IDF officials, to discuss IDF's operational approach in various fronts.
Regarding the northern front, Peretz said that IDF forces would withdraw from Lebanon only after new "rules of the game" and regulations for opening fire were established. He also stated that the naval and aerial blockades on Lebanon would continue and that IDF personnel would be authorized to open fire at Hizbullah operatives, if necessary. (Hanan Greenberg)
