Chairman of Pensioner's Union: Decrease of poor pensioners ridiculous
Chairman of the pensioner's union Gideon Ben Israel referred to the Poverty Report's declaration that the decrease in poor pensioners from 25.1 percent to 24.4 is "ridiculous. This is a mere few tenths of a percent."
According to Ben Israel, "you can't talk of a decrease when it only refers to a few hundred pensioners. The situation is still bad and we need to fight to approximate pensions to the average salary according to economic reports." (Miri Chason)
