UN to protest Israeli flights over Lebanon
UN officials said Thursday they would issue a complaint to Israel's army after four overflights by its jets in Lebanese airspace, in violation of the cease-fire between Israel and Hizbullah.
But UN officials expressed optimism on the one-month anniversary of the halt to hostilities that left thousands dead and obliterated Lebanese infrastructure in 34 days of clashes this summer. (AP)
