Foreign Ministry: Dialogue can be renewed if PA accepts Quartet principles

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mark Regev said that if the new Palestinian unity government accepted the Quartet’s principles as stated by EU foreign ministers, this could open the opportunity for the renewal of contacts between Israel and the PA.

“If the new Palestinian government does in fact adopt these decisive principles, the door will be opened for the renewal of dialogue between Israel and the Palestinians and the peace process will get back on track,” Regev said. (Reuters)
