The early days
Kibbutz Ginegar goes to Galilee – part 2
Dancing, crafts, holidays, and just an average day on the kibbutz soon celebrating 84 years since its founding. One last peak at Ginegar's photo album
Kibbutz Ginegar was established on the lands of the lower Galilee on the eve of Rosh Hashana, 1922. The kibbutz founders, working at moshavs in the area at the time, came in the Second and Third Aliyahs. They joined together in 1920 to establish Degania Gimmel – now known as Kibbutz Beit Zera.

They arrived at the Ginegar Estate – originally named Nagnager - due to a lack of land in their mother settlement, and other than a mixed up name and fertile land, the founders also inherited some strange stone structures.
In the last chapter, we presented photos from the early days of the kibbutz. This time the photos are from a little later, showing the holidays, work, and routine of the kibbutz that is soon to celebrate its 84th anniversary.
