Mashaal: World doesn’t care about Palestinians

Hamas politburo Chief Khaled Mashaal said during a speech in Damascus Thursday night that “when a hero from Gaza kidnaps an Israeli soldier, the whole world speaks up. But when thousands of Palestinians are in Israeli prisons, including women and elderly people, no one bats an eyelid.”
“Damascus, which was once under siege, has became a point of pilgrimage for mediators from all over the world for this dog Gilad Shalit, but six million Palestinian refugees scattered around the world don’t mean anything to anyone,” Mashaal said. (Ali Waked)
