Mashaal: Olmert is delaying release of Shalit

Hamas political leader Khaled Mashaal addressed the family of kidnapped IDF soldier Cpl. Gilad Shalit in a Damascus speech on Thursday: "The person who is delaying the release of your son is Olmert," he said.
"Hamas and the organizations which carried out the kidnapping are willing to release him as part of a prisoner exchange agreement," said Mashaal, adding: "we will not release him in exchange for the promise of a prisoner release, only as part of a deal will he be released." (Ali Waked)
