Daniella Weiss was angry Thursday, angry at the Yesha Council and feeling betrayed by Amana Chairman Ze'ev (Zambish) Hever in particular.

"The meeting between Zambish (Ze'ev Hever) and Defense Minister Amir Peretz and their attempt to reach an agreement on the illegal outposts issue is an act of betrayal," said Weiss to Ynet, "the Yesha council should have resigned a long time ago."

Weiss, who heads the Kdumim council made her statements after a meeting between Hever and Peretz early Thursday in an attempt to outline an agreed evacuation of the outposts.

Hever, who went on behalf of the Yesha Council, is chairman of the Amana organization which defines itself as "the settlement movement of Gush Emunim, established in 1978 with the primary goal of developing communities in Judea, Samaria, The Golan Heights, The Galilee and The Negev."

The Yesha council hopes that by agreeing to evacuate 10 percent of the outposts, the government would ratify the remaining outposts.

But despite Yesha's attempt to sacrifice a limb to save the patient, Weiss opposes the move. "This meeting is a continuation of what was done with the outposts during Barak's era," she said. "We will fight for this issue with our youth at full force."

'We'll follow Amona model'

When asked if the Yesha Council should resign Weiss replied: "The Yesha council members should have resigned after the disengagement as they collaborated with the government and police. This time we won't let that happen."

The settlers on their part are already planning their resistance. Earlier this week, several senior activists from the Gav HaHar and South Mt. Hebron region met in Jerusalem in preparation for the plan to evacuate illegal outposts in the West Bank.

The meeting's participants, largely extreme right-wingers, agreed that "we will follow the Amona model in every evacuated outpost."

The Yesha Council refused to comment. A source from within the council told Ynet: "There are those who are busy with war and there are those who are busy with building."
