Fatah, Hamas meet in Gaza to defuse internal violence

Fatah and Hamas officials met late-night Thursday in the Gaza Strip aiming to tackle spiralling violence between the two rival Palestinian movements, which has raised fears of civil war, an official involved in the talks said.
