Hamas to Egypt: Mashaal won’t visit Cairo without breakthrough
According to London based Arabic newspaper “Al Hayat”, Hamas informed Egypt Tuesday that Hamas politburo chief Khaled Mashaal would not visit Egypt if a breakthrough wasn’t made in releasing kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit.
A Hamas senior official said that the envoy that arrived in Cairo on behalf of the organization was expected to discuss the issue with the head of Egyptian Intelligence, General Omar Soliman. (Roee Nahmias)
