Abbas: We won't stray from Arafat's path
Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas said, "The Palestinian leadership won't stray from Arafat's path."
Abbas emphasized that the right of return for Palestinian refugees is enshrined and protected under international law. "We won't give up on this issue," he said. In his statements he promised the Palestinian prisoners that "there won't be peace even if ten thousand Palestinians are imprisoned in Israeli jails." (Ali Waked)
