The High Court turned down Monday a request by Jonathan Pollard against Minister Rafi Eitan.
In her ruling, High Court President Dorit Beinish wrote: "The claims are not based and are in the area of international relations with the United States. They touch on the international relations of the State, which the High Court refrains from interfering with."

In the original petitions, submitted by Pollard and his wife, the High Court was asked to cancel the clause in the coalition agreement signed between the Prime Minster's Bureau and the Pensioners Party (making Eitan a minister), due to Eitan's involvement in the Pollard affair.
Pollard is serving a life sentence and is imprisoned in the in the United States after spying for Israel.
The petitioners raised harsh accusations against Eitan as Pollard's handler.
They added that Eitan's appointed as a minister was "extremely unreasonable, since he seriously harmed Pollard, endangered his life, and brought about the removal of his freedom."
