General Naveh: Regulate permits for Palestinian transport
Commander of the IDF Central Command Maj. General Yair Naveh has ordered to regulate the transport of Palestinians by Israelis in vehicles with yellow Israeli license plates in the West Bank and the Jordan Rift Valley. In case where an Israeli wants to transport Palestinians in his car, he will be required to get a special permit from the Central Command.
The order will take effect in mid January and was suggested due to the fact that terror groups are exploiting the ability to drive in Israeli vehicles in the West Bank and to perpetrate attacks. (Efrat Weiss)
