Berlin: Olmert discusses nuclear weapons

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said in a meeting in Berlin with German Chancellor Angela Markel that Israel's stance on nuclear weapons remains unchanged, the country will not be first to introduce them to Middle East.

Markel said that every effort should be made in order to stop Iran for achieving nuclear ability. She also added that unfortunately she has not received positive indications of what is going on in Iran and Syria (Ronny Sofer, Berlin)
