Syrian official: Isolation imposed by West on Damascus has ended
Deputy Syrian Prime Minister Abdallah Dardari said in an interview with the Financial Times newspaper that the international isolation on Syria has ended and that western countries have reached the conclusion that they should cooperate with Damascus.
"There is a sense that people are realizing in western capitals that if you want to be influential in the Middle East, you have to come through Damascus," Dardari said. (AFP)
